This hand forged cabinet is a great size for a small space. The frame is constructed using unique blacksmiths techniques, hot forged mortise and tenon joinery. The inside box is made of 11 gauge blackened steel with adjustable shelves. The front is made up of several different sized pieces of metal forged for texture and width at the same time then riveted in opposite directions, giving an interesting “patchwork” arrangement.

The idea for this piece is from an upper Midwest farm life sensibility, using what you have on hand to make an idea work. Of course the pieces for this cabinet were well planned and thought out for a beautiful cabinet.
